Buoy & Turret for Martin Linge oilfield

Energomontaż-Północ Gdynia accomplished construction of oil and gas loading elements – buoy and turret for Martin Linge field. Structures were delivered for Norwegian company APL which is a part of national Oilwell Varco group.  The diameter of elements is 15 m and the height is 18 m. Total weight is over 500 tones. Elements of STL system are similar to the devices of the earlier order from the same client which were delivered by EPG in February this year.

The Submerged Turret Loading (STL) system represents the state-of-art-technology within offshore loading. The STL technology offers a flexible and cost-effective solutions for oil loading tankers and Floating Storage and Offloading. The construction can be classified as first-class offshore structures.

Martin Linge is an oil and gas field located in the North Sea, at a water depth of 115 meters. The gross recoverable reserves are estimated at 190 million barrels of oil equivalent. The field was discovered in 1975 and development plan was approved in 2012. First oil is scheduled for 2018.

EPG delivered winch for Catcher project

Energomontaż-Północ Gdynia (EPG) accomplished fabrication of the winch with 800 tons pulling force for FPSO Unit.

The construction was ordered by NOV APL. Winch weights 53 tons and has 800 tons pulling force. In Singapore it will be installed on the FPSO unit, which will ultimately extract, purify and overload the oil from Catcher field in the North Sea. Cathher field was discovered in August 2010. The field is estimated to hold 96 million barrels of oil equivalent.

EPG Dispatches Giant J-Lay Tower for REEL

Giant j-lay tower produced in EPG’s Gdynia facilities for REEL was placed onboard the Jumbo Jubilee heavy lift vessel.

The j-lay tower for laying pipelines on the seabed weighs 902 tons and is 42 meters tall. It is destined for a PLSV (Pipe Lay Support Vessel).  A similar tower was made be EPG in 2013 for IMECA, a daughter company of REEL.

Structures for Hebron mining field

Energomontaż-Północ Gdynia is carrying out commissioning the structure of four pile anchors  which are designed for Hebron mining field in Newfoundland.

EPG will perform four structures with a diameter of 1.7 m and a length of 16 m, which will be used to anchor to the seabed construction of two turrets that have also been made in the EPG. Recently the similar structures EPG made for Greater Stella mining field.
